Great Bridge Baptist Church desires to fulfill the commands of Jesus in Matthew 28: 19-20 when He told us to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Discipleship is no easy task in our busy world with hurried schedules. Balance is what we need to seek God and find His best for our lives.
Sunday morning Bible Study provides us with the greatest opportunities for teaching and reaching people. The two Sunday School units are before and after the morning worship experience and age appropriate classes are provided to give each person a “jump start” on the first day of the week in learning and applying God’s Word. We cannot possibly provide our students with everything they need to sustain them through the week but we can seize the opportunity to provide each person with the tools to help them in their faith journey wherever they may be. Sunday School is the beginning point in the discipleship focus.
