Preschool Ministry

We want to welcome you and your children to our preschool webpage. 

The Preschool hall at Great Bridge is where little ones can meet their very best friend, Jesus!  We work hard to provide a loving, safe environment where your most precious blessing, your child, can learn foundational concepts about God, Jesus, others, family and the church.  We look forward to partnering with you in the spiritual training of your child and helping them to grow to be as Jesus would have them to be!

 As Jesus has instructed us, “Let the little children come unto me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.  I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Luke 18:16-17

Preschool Children’s Worship
REMINDER: Four and five year olds are invited to our Preschool Children’s Worship. We meet every Sunday. Parents should bring preschoolers to room 111 or 112 BEFORE Worship begins.

NURSERY

Birth - 3 year olds are lovingly tended in our Church Nursery in the Preschool Department during Worship Services and most church-wide activities.

Kay Fombell is our beloved Preschool Minister.

She has been with us since September of 2002.  Kay spent many years as a teacher and yearly attends conferences to learn new ways to present the gospel to our little ones. She and her husband, Rod, live in Chesapeake.  Kay is a multi-talented lady.  She is an avid scrapebooker and enjoys teaching music.  She sings in the choir and plays with our handbell choir. And, she really loves being a Grandmommy!
